Music is a huge part of our culture, so celebrating it is a no brainer. Artists go on tour, festivals are hosted with huge artists, it’s been this way for years. But, what’s going to happen in 2025? Here a list of some of the most important music events of 2025:
Coachella
By the time this article is out, Coachella would already be over, but nevertheless it’s worth mentioning. Coachella is a huge music festival held in Indio, California and has been hosted there since 1999. This year, average tickets cost about $600. This year’s headliners were Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott. Some other notable artists who played were Charli xcx, ENHYPEN, Missy Elliot, Benson Boone, GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, Beabadoobee, and Clairo.
This year’s turnout was close to 125,000 people per day.
Governor’s Ball
The Governor’s Ball has been around since 2011, and takes place in New York City. This year’s headliners will be: Tyler, The Creator, Benson Boone, Olivia Rodrigo, Feid, Hozier, and Glass Animals. Other notable artists will be Conan Gray, Mt. Joy, MK.Gee, The Backseat Lovers, T-Pain, Tyla, Young Miko, Wallows, Marina, Clairo, Car Seat Headrest, and The Beaches. This Year’s general admission tickets will go for $359.
Lollapalooza
Lollapalooza started in 1991, touring around the country until 2005 when they decided to reside in Grant Park, Chicago IL. This year, the festival will be from July 31 to August 3. Tickets will go for around $189 for general admission. This year’s headliners will be Tyler, The Creator, Luke Combs, Olivia Rodrigo, Korn, Rufus Du Sol, Twice, Sabrina Carpenter, and A$AP Rocky. Other artists featured will be Gracie Abrams, Djo, Doechii, Martin Garrix, The Marias, Clairo, Bleachers, Dom Dolla, Cage The Elephant, Wallows, Young Miko, and T-Pain.

Beyoncé
Beyoncé’s tenth concert tour, Cowboy Carter tour, has already commenced, as it kicked off on April 28 at SoFi stadium in Los Angeles, CA. The tour is set to end on July 26. The tour follows the release of her 2024 album, Cowboy Carter, which won three Grammys. The range for ticket prices for the tour is from $70-3,000.
Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish’s HIT ME HARD AND SOFT tour began on Sept. 29, 2024, and is set to end on July 27, 2025. The tour will only hit Europe, Oceania, and North America, starting in Videotron centre, Quebec City, and ending at 3arena, Dublin. The tour follows Eilish’s 2024 release HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Tickets to the tour start at $200 and can go up to $350.
Coldplay
The band Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour began in 2022, a year after the Eponymous album released, at the Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica in San Jose on March 18. It then added the band’s 2024 release Moon Music to the tour setlist. The tour is set to end Sept. 8, 2025 after three years of touring. The tour utilizes eco-friendly energy sources to reduce the band’s carbon footprint. Tickets for the tour start at $153 and can go up to $11,000.
Kendrick Lamar/SZA
Trailing after Kendrick Lamar’s 6th studio album, GMX, he and SZA are performing the Grand National Tour around Europe and North America as of April 9, 2025, in Minneapolis, MN. The tour will end on Aug. 9, in Stockholm, Sweden. Tickets for the tour start at around $280.
Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet tour commenced on Sept. 23, 2024, following her hit album of the same name, which won 2 Grammys. The tour kicked off in Columbus, OH, and is set to end Nov. 23, 2025 in Los Angeles, CA. The tour will be specifically in Europe and North America. The tickets for this concert range from $160-$500.
