The Keller fire burned 15 acres of land and made many people evacuate their homes for their safety. This fire was really close to multiple schools like Carl B. Munck and Skyline. The fire was started on Friday, Oct. 18, at 1:30 pm. It was really similar to a 1991 fire which started due to high winds like the Keller fire. Many people were scared because many families live in the area. A witness named Kira said that she was “concerned but had trust in the firefighters as there were many at the site”. The fire has since been put out and people who had to evacuate are at home safe and sound. Many people saw the fire and were scared for their life as it was very big and they may have thought the firefighters couldn’t put it out in time. There were no fatalities and everyone will probably forget about it in a few months or weeks.
