API club members worked hard at the 65th annual Fall Fest to raise funds for their club. The Fall Fest was held on Oct. 26th at Montera Middle School’s back parking lot and included many booths that sold food and crafts, activities like the haunted house, and more.
Some of the things that the API club booth sold include crafts like earrings and bracelets, Asian snacks such as Pocky and Choco Pie, and the best-selling Thai iced tea. Choco Pies and jellies also sold very well. Three large containers of jelly sold out by the end of the event.
The API club leader and school counselor Erica Saephan said that the fundraiser was very successful and recalls “a lot of people (that) were interested in all the different things.” Ms. Saephan also states that, “It was a great turnout.” Club members estimated they made around $400 in profit.
